Capturing beauty and translating it into material form is the philosophy behind six new surfaces that Vetriceramici will unveil in Bologna at Cersaie 2026.

Vetriceramici will use the show to present Gesto d’Autore, a concept that encapsulates the company’s ability to translate aesthetic and technological research into innovative solutions for ceramic surfaces. The concept centres on capturing beauty, interpreting it through specialist expertise, and giving it material form in a design and production process that helps define the character of both the finished product and the architectural space.

The stand will be an immersive environment where meetings with customers and partners extend beyond purely commercial aspects to offer a multisensory visitor experience. The exhibit will centre on three distinctive elements: a wall installation made from technical ceramic slabs, a collaboration with a long-established coffee roasting company offering a selection of blends created specifically for the event, and a blind portrait artist who will interpret the themes of uniqueness and perception through drawing.

Uniqueness is one of the cornerstones of Vetriceramici’s identity and is reflected in a highly customised approach to product development. Each formulation, grit and textural effect is precisely tailored to the intended result.

Material research lies at the heart of this approach. Alongside visual appeal, growing attention is devoted to tactile and sensory qualities, creating a surface that engages users on multiple perceptual levels. Vetriceramici also draws on its ability to interpret emerging trends and translate them into distinctive, practical and high-performance solutions.

Vetriceramici will also unveil new applications of the BVerso system, used to produce the Nora and Shell surfaces. Both have a distinctive material character and original textures created with specially developed materials. Metallino uses a pearlescent surface to achieve a distinctive steel-inspired effect.

For those seeking a more sophisticated look, Vetriceramici will be presenting sandblasted Cipollino marble in an unusual version thanks to Brina, an elegant frosted surface that adds depth and enhances its perceived value.

Finally, the Wavy effect fully demonstrates the potential of co-design. Developed in collaboration with a leading Italian ceramic company, it is brought to life in a striking installation inspired by the trends seen at Milan Fuorisalone 2026.

Through these innovations, Vetriceramici aims to offer a tangible vision of how ceramic surfaces are evolving, reaffirming its commitment to developing new solutions in terms of materials, decoration and applications.
